Currently the company is managed by  Jennifer and Dale Richardson, who remain committed to the founders’ ideals of total commitment to meeting the needs of wheelchair users.
The company has locations across the United States, with rates in the $80 - $110 a day range. The fleet includes vans made by Ford, GM and Chrysler, with accessibilty modifications from Braun, Ricon, IMS and Vantage.

Wheelchair Getaways modifies their vans according the guidelines of the Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America (RESNA) and The National Mobility Equipment Dealers Association (NMEDA). Features include:
